Workshop Details

This workshop is based on the non-predatory leadership model created by Linda Kohanov in her latest books “The Power of the Herd” and “The 5 Roles of the Master Herder”.

In this workshop we’ll be experiencing ourselves practicing dominance, nurturer/companion, leader and sentinel roles in relationship with the horses. We’ll also learn and practice the “assertiveness formula”, which involves developing our ability to use energy consciously and efficiently, embody commitment and bypass power struggles when motivating other beings. We’ll acquire a new awareness and felt sense in our bodies of how we respond in each of these roles, which roles we tend to overemphasize and how to balance them.

This will enable you to see more clearly what is going on in yourself, your family and other groups you participate in and how to address challenges that arise in ways that reinforce right relationship, minimize interpersonal drama and support healthy boundary setting. 

Monday May 15th and Tuesday May 16th 9am-4pm Blue Horse Ranch

$395   Lunch, snacks and beverages provided.

Please bring your journal, a travel mug, a water bottle and a hat. Please wear layered clothing and closed toed shoes. I have chairs, extra blankets, rain coats and other comfort stuff like sunscreen and bug dope should you need some.

You can mail it or drop it off with cash or a cheque made out to “Thea Fast” at the Hobbit House for me, but please send me an email to let me know, if you do. If you want to pay with a credit card, use the paypal button and I will be notified.

You can pay the $200 deposit amount with the remainder due the first day of the workshop or you can pay the full amount. Deposits are non-refundable and transferable. If for any reason you can’t attend and have paid full registration the amount more than the deposit will be returned to you.
